This is a commitment for all people, who are called upon to adopt increasingly sustainable lifestyles, but naturally also for companies. If, as in our case, they belong to the water handling industry, then the challenge becomes even more exciting. Taking care of the most precious resource for life, offering s<strong>oluations for the entire water cycle<\/strong>propose innovative systems capable of combining<strong> technology<\/strong> and <strong>respect for the environment<\/strong> represent our daily mission and our commitment to all stakeholders. Each of our products, from the moment it is designed to its installation, must be seen as a tool to improve the quality of life and a step forward in protecting the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clean and safe water for all<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the 19 Sustainable Development Goals, the <strong>Goal 6 of the UN 2030 Agenda<\/strong> is called \"<strong>Clean water and sanitation<\/strong><strong>\"<\/strong>. The aim is to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. A tough challenge when you look at the numbers, but for this very reason urgent and a priority. According to the United Nations, there are as many as 663 million people without drinking water in the world<strong> <\/strong>and<strong> <\/strong>40% of the global population suffers from water scarcity. Similarly,<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>2.4 billion people lack basic sanitation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure the<strong>water supply<\/strong>a basic necessity for life, electric pumps are indispensable tools, both in distribution networks and in drawing from underground sources. With our pumps, we have always been committed to ensuring reliable solutions, performing even in complex situations, robust enough to be maintenance-free, and increasingly energy efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to clean, safe and potable water resources cannot be separated from the <strong>waste water treatment<\/strong>. Treatment plants require pumping stations to lift and transfer fluids, which must be operated safely and as efficiently as possible. In this situation too, pumps play a major role in maintaining the healthiness of the environment and the integrity of water sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For sustainable economic development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There can be no economic development without water resources. Water is needed in agriculture, livestock farming, and various industrial processes. Agriculture, in particular, requires a large amount of water (about 70% of global consumption) and climate change has profound effects on this sector. In the face of increasing water stress, pumps can make a difference, contributing to the development of <strong>efficient and sustainable irrigation systems<\/strong>. High-efficiency pumps designed for different irrigation technologies, capable of delivering enough water but without waste, pumps for rainwater harvesting or desalination plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sustainability as a general horizon&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The water pump industry is therefore at the forefront of the challenge for a <strong>sustainable water future<\/strong>.
